Fulham started the match at a breakneck speed with two golden opportunities. United had an uncertain start with Smalling and Jones being excellent to deny Fulham any goal.

The Red Devils had wasted several chances but they went ahead on the 14th minute when Pogba’s powerful shot from a tight angle, gave them a lead.

As that was not enough United confidence grew where Martial after nine minutes made it two with a run from inside his own half. In the second half Herera‘s shot was blocked by Rico‘s strong hands but Mata was tricked in the box to earn United a penalty which Pogba converted it to make it three. Pogba has now scored eight goals and five assists since Ole Gunnar took over.
